If you go to the Google and do a search for Garage Door repair you’ll find dozens of companies pop up. How do you know who’s local and who’s legit?

Many out of town companies spend thousands each month on internet marketing to show up at the top of the list. They’ll disguise themselves under many different names, appearing to be different companies. When in reality they’re all one in the same.

Who answers the phone? If it sounds like a call center. It’s probably an out of town company.

Do they have hundreds of reviews? Look for the lowest. See how they’re responding to negative reviews. They’ll pay big money for fake reviews. It helps with their search rankings.

Do they have pictures of work they’ve done. If you just see a street corner or a building. Chances are they aren’t legit.

In the end. Trust your gut. If it doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t.
